ixie Auto Auction
Dixie Auto Auction was started by James "Butch" Burrow in 1979. It has provided a wholesale market for used cars to licensed automobile dealers for nearly 35 years. Our customer base covers not only southern Missouri but also surrounding states of Arkansas, Tennessee, Illinois, Mississippi and Kentucky.
In 2013, Mr. Burrow decided to expand his business to provide vehicles to not only dealers, but to the general public as well. The idea is to be able to provide automobiles that can be purchased out-right in an economy that demands, timely payments and steadily increasing interest rates.
Whether you need to buy or sell, Dixie Auto Auction would love the opportunity to be of service to you!

Services | How it works. Meet our staff. We have you covered.
To Sell Your Vehicle
When you register your vehicle for auction, there is a $20 fee charged. This fee will be refunded if your vehicle sells.
You Must Have A Clear Title
You MUST have a clear, negotiable title in your name to sell your vehicle. It is illegal to be in possession of an "open title" in the state of Missouri. This will not be acceptable either.
It Is Best To Be Present During The Auction
It is best to be present during the auction when your car is offered for sale. If you cannot be present, you must see office personnel to leave your contact information, as well as a "bottom-dollar" acceptable bid for your vehicle. The unit will be sold on an "If" bid until we are able to contact you.
You Must Register
You must register in the office prior to purchasing a vehicle.
All Individuals Will Be Required To Pay Cash
All individuals will be required to pay cash. If prior arrangements are made to write a check, the sale will not finalize until we contact your bank to verify funds availability. We also accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover. An additional 3% will be added to your purchase price to cover fees incurred.
All Licensed Dealers
All licensed dealers will fill out a statement for their bank reference regarding their account. Checks will gladly be accepted after we get confirmation on your account. A service fee of $100 will be charged to ANYONE issuing a check with insufficient funds.
If You Are High Bidder
If you are the higher bidder on a vehicle, and the bid is accepted, you MUST pay for the vehicle in full the night of sale. If you are a licensed dealer, and the the title is present, you will be presented a good negotiable title the night of the sale. If the title is not present, the seller has three (3) weeks (21 days) to present the title. Failure to do so will void the sale. If you are an individual you are required to pay for the vehicle the night of sale. A time will be scheduled for you to return for paper work. A $20 fee will be payable at that time.
No Sale Final
NO SALE is final until unit is paid for!
